Description

In a 2×2 factorial design, we are testing the effects of two smoker-driven interventions: 1) smokerto- smoker peer marketing (S2S peer recruitment); and 2) smoker-to-smoker adaptive computer tailored health communication using a recommender system (S2S adaptive CTHC) for motivational messaging. Our research question is to assess the impact of these interventions (individually and collectively) on recruitment, engagement, and cessation (see below). Consistent with comparative effectiveness designs, we have an active comparison group.
