Project Details
Description
The Center on Media and Human development at Northwestern University will conduct a national online survey to understand parents’ use of new media technology including social networking sites, mobile devices, etc for support and information regarding their children’s education, development, and health. This study has a particular focus in determining how parents use social networking sites, like Facebook, and other online resources to help them in managing and understanding the challenges of preschool to kindergarten transition. We hope to gain perspective from a diverse population of parents with a particular focus on lower-SES and Hispanic parents.
