State and Local Innovation Initiative

Professor Guryan will serve as Co-Chair of the State and Local Innovation Initiative. In this role he will assess the academic quality of the Initiative's research agenda, will lead evaluation of projects proposed to the Initiative, will liaise with the Initiative sponsor or sponsors on technical aspects of the Initiative, and will work with Initiative staff to ensure the efficient management of Initiative procedures and funds. Professor Guryan will participate in regular conference calls with his fellow Co-Chair and Initiative staff, will review project proposals, and will participate in Initiative proposal review meetings by phone or in person, as appropriate.
