Project Details
Description
While the Evaluation Center does not conduct programming that directly impacts viral suppression among HIV-positive individuals or PrEP uptake and adherence among HIV-negative individuals, we believe that the work performed by the Evaluation Center has a pronounced impact on the HIV epidemic in Chicago. By overseeing and standardizing the implementation and evaluation of 20 HIV-prevention interventions in the city of Chicago over the last 2.5 years, we have substantially improved understanding of the landscape of HIV prevention within Chicago through overarching evaluation activities and ensured that sites have the capacity to evaluate their own interventions. To expand the infrastructure of the Evaluation Center and ensure that our activities are sustainable, accessible, and recognizable, we propose using additional grant funding to brand the Evaluation Center and develop an outward facing website.
