Study of the Proteostasis Network in Alzheimer’s disease

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The main goals of this project are to formally establish the underlying mechanisms of biological aging that result in Aβ and tau aggregation, as well as to identify the earliest molecular events that control the age-related PN failure in AD. SA1: To establish the underlying mechanisms of biological aging that result in Aβ and tau aggregation. SA2: To investigate the properties of the proteostasis network of human AD patient derived direct differentiated neurons.
