As a subcontractor to the Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality for the Request for Task Order Proposal “The Comprehensive Unit-based Safety Program (CUSP for Antibiotic Stewardship”, Dr. Jeffrey Linder, as the site-PI, will provide expertise in antibiotic stewardship in ambulatory settings. He will work with the overall project team to develop and deliver educational content to improve antibiotic stewardship in ambulatory settings as well as in other settings. Specific tasks will be to review the evidence for implementation of antimicrobial stewardship in the ambulatory setting and to oversee development of an educational toolkit geared for healthcare workers, patients and family members in the ambulatory care setting.
