Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

Northwestern University will create the infrastructure for a central data hub which is available for centers or device companies interested in collaborative research related to epilepsy with emphasis on SUDEP. The research platform will foster small pilot projects including student and resident initiatives to effectively test devices and allow collaborative research, initially within the Chicago-land area but with the option to expand nationally. It will allow small companies to enter the market and sponsor multi-center trials without requiring huge investments in infrastructure.
