“The Lakeside Conference on Protein Toxins and Effectors” to be held October 4-7, 2020 in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, located in the rural area between Chicago and Milwaukee. This conference will address the structural, biochemical, and cell biological mechanisms of action of factors secreted by microbes that then manipulate host cell biology to benefit pathogens. The meeting will also address the emerging field of toxin and effectors in interbacterial interactions.
