Project Details
Description
(1) Andrew Mannix: Andrew is a Research Assistant who will study methods for transferring chemical vapor deposition (CVD) graphene onto insulating (e.g., sapphire) and plasmonic (e.g., Ag, Au, and Cu) substrates. Andrew will characterize his graphene materials using UHV STM, XPS, Raman spectroscopy, and related surface science techniques. His substrates will be used for the study of chemically functionalized graphene with SERS. Andrew will also employ clean room methods for fabricating electrical contacts and device structures on his graphene substrates.
