Description

This study will use community based participatory research to explore the burden of uterine fibroids (leiomyomas). Uterine fibroids are prevalent among women and particularly among women of African-American descent. This study will use qualitative research methods to address the effects and burden of this condition upon affected women, including evaluation of quality of life.
