Taking it to the Street: Using Community Based Participatory Research Principles to Address the Burden of Uterine Fibroids

This study will use community based participatory research to explore the burden of uterine fibroids (leiomyomas). Uterine fibroids are prevalent among women and particularly among women of African-American descent. This study will use qualitative research methods to address the effects and burden of this condition upon affected women, including evaluation of quality of life.
