Team Dynamics, Networks, and Assembly (Team DNA)

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The aim of this research is to understand the characteristics of successful teams, the leading indicators of impending team failure, and potential policies for increasing the productivity of team science and problem solving. To accomplish these aims we will develop a computational model of team dynamics, networks, and assembly parameterized by real world data on team collaboration. Dr. Uzzi will be responsible for theoretical development of semantic analytics and analyzing communications in the data for linguistic style matching. Dr. Contractor will be in charge of overseeing empirical data collection and management as well as analyzing the data using statistical models for network and team assembly.
