Project Details
Description
The scope of work performed at Northwestern University (NU) will involve the biochemical and computational analysis of lung CD4+ T cells from the models proposed in this application. NU will receive cell lysates prepared according to our established protocols on dry ice from Johns Hopkins University. DNA and RNA isolation will occur in parallel followed by genome-scale DNA methylation measurement utilizing modified reduced representation bisulfite sequencing. NU will also perform transcriptional profiling with RNA sequencing. Computational bioinformatic analysis of DNA methylation and gene transcriptional profiling will be performed on NU’s high-performance computing cluster (Quest) using the dedicated genomics nodes. Raw and processed data will be transferred to the PI at Johns Hopkins University for synthesis and backup.
