Description

Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine will provide Mother’s and Babies Course Training and assist with implementation in the prevention of depression in pregnant and post partum women enrolled in the Magnolia Project. Dr. Tandon and his staff at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine will work closely with the Magnolia Project, located in Jacksonville, Florida to develop the capacity of home visiting programs in Jacksonville and surrounding counties to implement the Mothers and Babies group intervention. Dr. Tandon will conduct two Mothers and Babies Course Trainings to ensure at least 10 Magnolia staff and 25 community partners are trained. Additionally, supervision will be provided to ensure the trained facilitator staff is implementing the group sessions accurately.
