The role of prefrontal cortex and thalamus during trace eyeblink conditioning

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

We will examine the effects of GLYX-13 in rabbits undergoing trace conditioning and monitor them in and fMRI. There will be 6 rabbits as controls and 6 rabbits given GLYX-13. We will image at 3 critical “snap-shot” points (initial training day, day after behavioral criterion, consolidated memory day). Our goal is to be able to define brain regions where initial associations, learned responses and then consolidated memory stores are optimized with GLYX-13.
