The Thirty Million Words Newborn Public Health Initiative

The proposed study seeks to evaluate an intervention to assist women in enlarging the verbal capabilities of their children. This goal will be accomplished by conducting a multicenter, randomized study of a tool to encourage verbal interactions with one’s children. Dr. Grobman, along with a research assistant, will participate in all phases of the proposed project including design, conduct, data analysis and interpretation, preparation of manuscripts and implementation planning.
