Project Details
Description
G.R. Scott Budinger, MD, Site PI will contribute 0.24 calendar months to provide the reagents and expertise on the animal models and the assessment of mice phenotype and also single cell RNA-seq in this proposal.
Dr. Budinger will assist Dr. Liu on the experiments in which 1) epithelial cell populations are isolated from murine lung homogenates using flow cytometry and examined for transcriptomic responses to loss of function of Miz1 using RNA-Seq; 2) epithelial cell populations are isolated from human COPD lungs and healthy donor lungs and examined for expression of SASP factors using single cell RNA-seq. The equipment and technical skills required to generate these data are contained within their shared laboratory space.
