The goal is to increase the Department’s capacity to assess the clinical needs of youth and therapeutic interventions in congregate care by adding additional staff positions to the Therapeutic Residential Performance Management Initiative 2P (TRPMI) Team to provide direct eyes-on youth and focus primarily on youth-related issues related to treatment, safety and well-being. Clinical Specialists (CS) will attend staffings and complete assessment tools with each youth. They will provide consultation regarding individual youth, report any unusual incidents, and review Unusual Indent Reports to assist with development of their action plans. The Continuous Quality Improvement Specialists (CQIS) will work in collaboration with, and as an advisor to the TRPMI Teams, focusing on quality data capture, assessment, evaluation, and reporting activities of individual youth to characterize, and support the improvement of Therapeutic Residential Services and Operations (TSRO). They will interview youth and residential staff as indicated. Work Collaboratively with TRPMI Teams. The Statewide Quality Improvement Specialist (SQIS) will work in collaboration with, and as an advisor to the TRPMI Teams, focusing on quality data capture, assessment, evaluation, and reporting activities of individual youth to characterize, and support the improvement of Therapeutic Residential Services and Operations (TSRO). The SQIS is the collector, integrator, and disseminator of quantitative and qualitative data about TRSO Statewide – their execution, efficiency, and efficacy. They will integrate QI into all TRPMI Teams’ processes and activities to assure efficiency in interactions with Residential Providers and DCFS. The Data Systems Development Specialist (DSDS) will support TRPMI in the initial implementation and development process to make sure that appropriate data are being captured for short term and long term reports. The Data Systems Development Specialist will work in collaboration with TRPMI Teams to develop an internal quality assurance processes
