Project Details

The Provider (Northwestern University’s Center for Behavioral Intervention Technology (CBITs)) will continue its pre-existing cooperative work with Rush Medical Center (Rush) regarding providing smartphone, service contracts and apps to homeless youth. This initiative will be expanded through TTI in terms of the scope of number of homeless youth (or other populations as DMH, Rush and Northwestern may from time to time agree upon). Provider Northwestern further agrees to integrate into the pre-existing app suite on these smartphones increased functionality so that smartphone users can easily connect to the Illinois Warm Line (a telephone hotline) the Crisis Text Line and the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
