Translational Control of Gene Expression during Poxvirus Infection

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The transfer of this NIH Award and research program to Northwestern University in no way affects the current or future research plans outlined in the funded award proposal. In fact, our group will now be provided with significantly larger research space, equipment, facilities and support, including our own ultracentrifuge and gradient fractionator for extensive polysome analysis outlined in this research proposal, as well as our own wide field microscope for fixed and live cell imaging. As such, our move to Northwestern and my new position will without any doubt greatly enhance our research program and the progress that we are capable of making on this R21 proposal.
