Description

The Northwestern team will use electronic health record (EHR) data to identify potentially eligible participants for in-depth qualitative interviews. Specifically, this will include English-speaking adult patients (age 18 or older) who have self-identified as being Black, who were diagnosed with AF in the past 12 months, who were not prescribed/are not currently taking OACs, who have a CHADS VASC score of 2 or greater, and who did not have a medical condition or other contraindication to using OACs.
