Understanding Roles of Ultrafast and Coherent Electronic and Atomic Motions in Photochemical Reactions

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

Northwestern PI’s will perform basic research as outlined in the proposal. This includes studies of the use of DFT methods to describe the excited state dynamics of TMC’s or of TMC’s interacting with nanoparticles following photoexcitation, as described in the proposal. The work will be performed with the assistance of postdocs, as outlined in the budget, using facilities available at Northwestern.
