Project Details

Description

This project will implement and evaluate a targeted intervention utilizing a variety of social media platforms to improve engagement and retention in HIV care. Interventions must be innovative in terms of its technology or application to the initiative’s target population. It will address HAB’s mission to provide leadership and resources to assure access to and retention in high quality, integrated care and treatment services for vulnerable people living with HIV/AIDS and their families by identifying: • proactive strategies for bringing underserved, underinsured, hard-to-reach youth and young adults into health care when they are in early stages of HIV disease; • effective interventions that transform sporadic users of health care into regular and continual users of health care; effective methods to support and retain clients in health care; and • effective strategies for assisting youth with treatment adherence
