Project Details

Description

This project will develop and test a methodology for tracking and assessing the effects of research sponsored by the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP), which is funded by the collective state departments of transportation and managed by the Transportation Research Board (part of NASEM). The Northwestern role will be to share in the leadership role to develop the evaluation strategy, including data capture, metrics, and interpretation of the results. Northwestern will take responsibility for organizing and conducting, along with other members of the research team, a series of case studies that will be deep probes into the adoption, implementation, outcomes and impacts of specific NCHRP research projects completed over the past decade.
