VA IPA for Hao Wang

Dr. Hao Wang will design and perform experiments investigating murine models of leukemia and inflammation. He will isolate and culture murine bone marrow and spleen cells. Assisted by Dr. Jianghong Wang, he will perform pre-clinical translational studies in murine leukemia models. He will also perform in vitro studies of leukemia cells, including treatment with small molecule inhibitors. He will perform site directed mutagenesis of transcription factor cDNA sequences to study structure function relationships of these proteins in murine bone marrow cells and myeloid leukemia cell lines. He will isolate proteins from myeloid leukemia cells, perform immune precipitation of proteins and DNA from these cells and assay protein function by ELISA. from leukemia cell lines.
