VA IPA in support of Bin Liu

Ms. Liu will perform isolation of human and murine bone marrow cells for analysis of RNA and protein. She will assist in bone marrow transplant studies in a murine leukemia model using transduced murine bone marrow cells. She will perform pre-clincial studies in this animal model to test various standard and novel approaches to leukemia therapeutics. These studies also involve mechanistic investigation of proteins and signaling pathways using transduced murine bone marrow cells and basic biochemical analysis, including protein purification, immunoprecipitation of DNA and protein, and protein activity analysis using ELISA techniques.
