Description
This is an IPA for Dr. Benjamin Schalet with the VA. Dr. Schalet is a Psychologist, Psychometrician and Research Assistant Professor in Medical Social Sciences at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He is the lead for the Methods Core of the National Person-Centered Assessment Resource, which grew from the PROMIS initiative, and is focused on research infrastructure to sustain the use of person-centered health outcomes. Dr. Schalet will have primary responsibility for psychometric data analyses, with assistance from Dr. Kimerling and Dr. Reise. Dr. Schalet will also act as the PROMIS liaison to provide methodological oversight for consistency with PROMIS standards. He will also keep the study team updated about PROMIS activities pertaining to emerging measures of related constructs and placement of the proposed measure within the PROMIS framework. He will participate in the preparation of manuscripts and will assist in dissemination activities, chiefly by facilitating adoption of the measure into the PROMIS framework.
