Description
This study is a continuence of the D2d Study. The objective of this randomized controlled, multi-center trial is to determine whether vitamin D supplementation can prevent or delay the onset of diabetes in patients with prediabetes. In this ongoing study (enrollment has been completed), subjects with prediabetes have been randomized to 4000 units of vitamin D or placebo once daily.
