Abstract

We demonstrate a microstructure-fiber based supercontinuum source and an optical parametric oscillator in the 1550nm regime. By using only 12.5m-long fiber, we obtained a 10-GHz repetition rate picosecond pulse source capable of ~120nm wavelength tunability.
