note = "Funding Information: Dr. Raimondi obtained NIH funding for the study of hydrocephalus using two strains of mutant mice. We talked about the possibility of working in the laboratory on the study of these models, and I was delighted with the opportunity. Dr. Raimondi spoke with Dr. William Bondareff, the Chairman of the Anatomy Department at Northwestern University, and I entered the Ph. D. program, electing to take two years off for research. During that time I studied the ultrastructural anatomy of the developing subarachnoid space of mammalians, which ultimately became the subject of my thesis. Dr. Bucy assisted me in getting a special NIH fellowship for my two years in research which supplied the funding needed to do the research, and to support my family.",
