Abstract

A glass microchamber which allows polarographic assay in a volume of 180 μl is described. The conical shape of this chamber allows efficient mixing with a Teflon magnetic flea. This chamber facilitates the study of the small quantities of mitochondria obtained from human tissue biopsies or animal sources. The polarographic assay of mouse liver mitochondria is described.
