Abstract

The recognition subsystem of a vision system based on a constructive solid geometry (CSG) representation scheme is described. From the image, a description about the scene--precedence graph--is inferred. Object recognition is formulated as matching a scene precedence graph to a model precedence graph which is executed by a constraint satisfaction network.
