A rate constant expression for charge transfer through fluctuating bridges

Abstract

A rate constant expression was presented for charge transfer reactions mediated by flexible bridges. It was found that the leading term corresponds to the static limit which was obtained from the Condon approximation. The corrections due to finite time fluctuations were also evaluated.
