Abstract

A semiautomated data collection system, flexible enough to apply to any microscopic tissue where the data can be accepted as point positions, is described. The design is simple and can be easily implemented on a mini- or microcomputer with minimal additional hardware. The results of a typical neuroanatomical experiment are shown together with an error and time constraint analysis.
