Abstract

New concepts regarding AOPs, especially as they relate to exogenous exposures, represented the general topics led by members of IABR for this year's symposium, presentations and networking session. Not every topic was specifically about exhaled breath, but the interest to the breath research community drawn from this year's Pittcon meeting is the concept of expanding beyond the traditional diagnostic medicine or environmental exposure paradigms into a more detailed interpretation of the underlying metabolism and systems biology.
