Abstract

The fourth session of the first two days of the workshop focused on the experimental studies of AM and some applications in aerospace, medicine and so on. Prof. Lyle E. Levine (National Institute of Standards and Technology), Prof. Anthony Rollett (Carnegie Mellon University), Prof. Dongjiang Wu (Dalian University of Technology), Dr. Lianfeng Wang (Shanghai Aerospace Equipment Manufacture), Prof. Jimin Chen (Beijing University of Technology), Prof. Yonggang Zheng (Dalian University of Technology) respectively, discussed research results, challenges and future directions related to this topic.
