Abstract

Adsorption of strongly charged rods including lateral correlations and equating the chemical potentials of the free and adsorbed rods and of the free and condensed counterions allowed to self-consistently determine the fraction of monomers with condensed counterions for rods in the bulk solution and for rods adsorbed on the surface. The radius of the surface pattern of adsorbed rods decreased as the salt concentration increased.
