Advance in type II InAs/GaSb superlattice photodiodes for LWIR detection and imaging

Abstract

Recent effort has lifted the Quantum Efficiency of Type-II InAs/GaSb superlattice photodetectors to 54%, comparable to the state-of-the-art MCT technology. High quality Type II Superlattice Focal Plane Array with a 12μm cut-off wavelength was demonstrated.
