Abstract
A case of advanced, localized, lower pole hypdronephrosis has been presented. The case demonstrated a thick walled mass with multiple caliceal crescents in a poorly functioning lower pole. Selective renal arteriography revealed delayed filling, stretching and tapering of the intrarenal vessels of the lower pole. These findings are most significant in the diagnosis of localized hydronephrosis.
