Abstract

This paper presents an algorithm to compute the upper-stability bound for linear singularly-perturbed discrete-time systems, specifically those formulated using the delta operator. Similar results already exist for continuous-time systems and for shift-operator-formulated discrete-time systems. In comparison to the shift-operator formulation the algorithm presented here leads to simpler criteria and is more robust.
