N2 - Pedicle screw systems provide significant and, in many cases, improved and previously unattainable spinal fixation. However, pedicle screw systems represent difficult surgical techniques involving several potential problems and complications. Only by detailed knowledge of the anatomy of the spine, with a clear understanding of the pedicle screw systems implementation, can the risks of complications be minimized.
