Abstract

The synthesis and activity as precatalysts for stereoregular α-olefin polymerization of the chiral C1-symmetric zirconocene complexes (R)- and (S)-Me2Si(η5-C13H 16)(η-C5H3R*)ZrR2), where C13H16 = octahydrofluorenyl, R = NMe2, Cl, or Me, and R* = (1R,2S,5R)-trans-5-methyl-cis-2-(2-propyl)cyclohexyl ((-)-menthyl), are described.
