Abstract
Angle-resolved photoemission spectra for TiC(100) are calculated using Pendrys method and realistic surface potentials obtained from a precise all-electron local-density full-potential linearized-augmented-plane-wave thin-film investigation. Comparison of the theoretical photocurrent with experiment shows that only the use of these realistic surface potentials gives a proper description of surface-induced structures occurring in the experimental spectra.
