Abstract

The expression for the apparent rate constant ka of partially diffusion-controlled reactions has been derived in the framework of the percolation approach to the description of the dispersive Gaussian transport of active species in disordered solids. Results obtained for site- and bond disordered systems agree with the empirical law ka = Bt-1+α and allow to calculate parameters B and α for different types of disorder and for various types of reactions involved in the reaction.
