Abstract
With increasing interest in nanoscale science and technology, the development of new and inexpensive fabrication techniques to generate nanostructures has become an important scientific challenge. In this paper, we have demonstrated a series of simple benchtop nanopatterning procedures that have been successfully incorporated into an undergraduate-level course on nanoscale science. The experiments aim to introduce nanofabrication to undergraduate students and enable them to create nanoscale structures using simple and inexpensive tools.
