note = "Funding Information: In May 1995 and in May 2000, two conferences, both entitled International Behavioral Development Symposium: Biological Basis of Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Gender-Typical Behavior, were convened by Lee Ellis at Minot State University in Minot, North Dakota. The purpose of these two conferences was to bring together both animal researchers and human researchers with a special interest in the biological bases of sex-dimorphic behavior and sexual orientation. Both conferences were funded primarily by the Eugene Garfield Foundation of Philadelphia. Without the support of Dr. Garfield and the matching funds and facilities offered by Minot State University these meetings could not have taken place.",
