Abstract

Sonographic examination of the brain in 10 patients who had cortical mass lesions was performed. Results were compared with findings of CT. In each case, brain edema surrounded the lesion, and the adjacent white matter had a diffusely echogenic appearance that corresponded to the area of brain edema seen on CT.
