Abstract
Acute mastoiditis, a relatively common entity until the advent of antibiotics, is now infrequent. Acute mastoiditis associated with malignant tumor invasion of the temporal bone has always been a rare phenomenon. The literature reporting metastatic tumors of the temporal bone reports 73 cases. The reported case represents the 18th report of metastatic breast carcinoma to the temporal bone in the world literature.
