Abstract

Over the years, Chicago Botanic Garden has directed much of its research towards the development, evaluation, and introduction of ornamental plants for landscape and garden use in the Midwestern U.S.A and beyond. This paper discusses the Garden's programs in plant breeding and evaluation.
