Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the incidence of late and/or unexpected cardiac death in a large series of hospitalized patients with tricyclic antidepressant overdosage. Such data could be useful in formulating rational recommendations for duration of hospitalization and monitoring periods in this common clinical problem.
