The variation of temperature in cellular flames are measured. As the additives CF//3Br and N//2 are gradually introduced into combustible mixture, the temperature of the trough and ridge zones are measured until the flame becomes smooth. Also, the periodic variation of the temperature within rotating polyhedral flames are measured. Finally, for different flow rates of combustible mixture through the burner, the flame temperature corresponding to the onset of cell formation are determined.
